Kia ora and thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m supporting kiwi women by raising money for The Breast Cancer Foundation New Zealand.

I received the fright of my life a few months ago. After a series of tests, my results came back benign. However, eight women a day in NZ aren't as lucky as me and are diagnosed with breast cancer.

I've decided to shave my hair off to fundraise for the Breast Cancer Foundation, simultaneously opening a door to my dream career as a Gollum impersonator. Thanks to the incredible support and generosity of the kind souls around me, I smashed my fundraising goal of $1000 in 48 hours so I have set a new and loftier fundraising target of $3000.

Once this goal is hit, I will be shaving my hair - for early diagnosis, treatment, support and a cure! I will be donating all 50cm of my locks to a wonderful not-for-profit that makes wigs for cancer patients.

The Breast Cancer Foundation do incredible work, and the money I raise will be used to fund vital research projects and medical grants to help improve the survivorship of breast cancer in New Zealand. It will also help support kiwi women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer through services such as counselling and rehabilitation programmes.

Every donation over $50 will receive a a cupcake baked by yours truly!

Please consider making a donation today, anything will help and together we can help make a difference! Tēnā rawa atu koe!
