Rowing has been a big part of my life over the last 14 years. I have taken a break from it in the last two years and in this time two special women in my life have been diagnosed with breast cancer and under gone invasive treatments.
I have decided to get back into rowing by entering the 500m mens open event in the 2019 indoor rowing champs held in Cambridge on the 23rd of November. My goal is to raise $500 for Breast Cancer foundation NZ to help support the many women we love in our lives who get affected by this disease.
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please consider making a donation today, anything will help. I cannot do this alone but with your support we can make a difference.
Nine women a day are diagnosed with breast cancer in New Zealand. The money I raise from this page will be used to fund vital research projects and medical grants to help improve the survivorship of breast cancer in New Zealand. It will also help support kiwi women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer through services such as counselling and rehabilitation programmes.
