Thank you for visiting my fund raising page. In May 2018 I will be challenging myself to take part in the Pink Ribbon trek of the Great Wall of China. In 2016 I was one of those 8 women a day that is diagnosed with breast cancer. Luckily for me it was in the early stages so after 2 operations and the removal of my left breast and some ongoing treatment, I feel now that I'm able to push myself once again. This is something that has been on my bucket list so it would be awesome to tick it off.
After meeting all the wonderful positive caring people at the Dunedin Breast Care Unit i would love nothing more than to be able to raise money so that other people can get the same care & treatment that they deserve & need when dealing with this disease. Without NZBCF things could be a lot worse for me and so many other people. Doing this walk will also benefit me for any further treatments that i may need so my aim is to get my fitness up to a better level.
My husband has always said to me, if there are two roads, an easy road or a hard road you always seem to go down the hard road. So maybe for once i can choose to go down the hard road and this time have control of where it will take me.
Any contributions you are able to make to support me and raise funds for New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation is greatly appreciated.
It would be great if you could spread the word about what I'm doing by sharing my fundraising page with your friends and family. The more people that know, the more money we can raise!
Thank you once again; your support is truly appreciated.
